Some of my favorite moments with you have been coloring. I love sharing a coloring book with you. You are so good at sharing and you are learning your colors wonderfully. It is a special "mommy and me" time that I will always treasure.

Thank you for your sweetness. Thank you for playing quietly with your trains or cars while I take care of sister. Thank you for your smiles that brighten my day. Thank you for your unconditional love.
Love forever and always,
Mommy

Little Bear,
Wow, two years already. I can't believe it. It seems like it's been much longer, and yet no time at all, simultaneously. I can still remember the look on Mommy's face when you let us know you were ready to show up. (We will explain later.) And you came to meet us at 2:34 in the morning. I thought that was neat. I like to think you did that on purpose. And you are such a sweet boy. You love your mommy, and your daddy, and your sister, and you are always friendly to various random waitresses and waiters. Goof.

I can see Mommy in your face, and in your brown eyes. And you love to learn new things, you are always so proud when you get a new word right. And then you use it every chance you get. Just ask Mommy and me when you are older how many animals go "moo." You will be amazed. I love to see you at the zoo. Mommy and me both have always loved zoos. You got that from both of us. We still do love them, but it is a million times better going with you. Plus, you always make Mommy take us through the reptile house. I couldn't even get her into the reptile house. You are our little guy, and we both love you so much.

Thank you for coming, and for being everything we ever hoped or dreamed you could be. And I know that you will just keep getting better.
Love, Daddy Bear.
